This position assists the Network Director with oversight of the Environmental Services teams and operations at Kettering Medical Center, Sycamore Medical Center, Kettering Behavioral Medical Center, Soin Medical Center, Greene Memorial Hospital, Grandview Medical Center, Southview Medical Center and Fort Hamilton Hospital as well as other KHN properties as assigned.
The Network Operations Manager of Environmental Services is responsible for developing and maintaining a culture that ensures that our patients, guests and their visitors experience the highest levels of hospitality and customer service possible.
The Network Operations Managers main objective is to provide 24/7 leadership, direction and coordination of divisional operations in a manner consistent with the Kettering Health Network organizational mission and objectives as well as assist Network Director in duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or combination of education and relevant experience, Master’s Degree preferred.
Experience: Must have a minimum of 4-6 years of progressive leadership experience in cleaning and environmental services in hospitality and/or hospital setting as well as multi-unit/facility experience.
Hospitality and/or hotel management (customer relations) experience a plus.
Must have in-depth knowledge of hospital cleaning and sterilization techniques, in addition to knowledge of fiscal management systems and techniques.
Must have knowledge of human resource management practices including supervision and staff development.
Must have knowledge of computer systems and applications.
Skills in developing and maintaining effective relationships with staff, administration, customers, regulators and public.
Skills in organizing work to achieve clinic goals and objectives.
Experience analyzing and interpreting complete data.
Experience in researching and preparing comprehensive reports.
Experience monitoring quality control standards.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to customers of varying cultures, psycho-social needs and ages.
Must have demonstrated commitment to customer service and understanding of patient experience initiatives as they relate to environmental services.
Must have knowledge of hospital systems operation and practices and possess the ability to accept change and constructive criticism.
