Kettering College is seeking applicants to fill full-time faculty positions in its developing Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program. The program is located at the Kettering Medical Center which is the main campus for the Kettering Health Network in Dayton, Ohio area. Kettering College is a health science institution with a growing number of graduate health science programs including, Nursing, Occupational Therapy and Physician Assistant Studies affiliated with the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Candidates with a strong Christian value system, lifestyle, and commitment to the integration of faith and learning are encouraged to apply.
Priority consideration will be given to licensed physical therapists or eligible in state of Ohio, graduate of an accredited DPT program and possess an academic doctorate or enrolled in an academic doctoral program, and have earned advanced clinical credentials. Prior academic experience in higher learning is highly desirable.
Qualified applicants must be willing to teach in their areas of expertise, mentor students, engage in professional and community service, develop a scholarly agenda and disseminate scholarly products. Also the qualified applicant should assist the Chair with development of new and/or selected course syllabi and instructional materials. Participate in the screening and selection process of prospective students. Serve on assigned Department and College committees. Assist with the preparation and development of program accreditation documents. Attend and participate in all Department and College faculty meetings and other required events. Rank and salary are negotiable depending on the applicant’s prior level of experience.
