To provide pastoral care and spiritual support to patients, patient’s families, and employees of all ages and backgrounds from birth to geriatrics. To serve as a resource for staff and administration in implementing KMCN ministry of healing to the whole person. Chaplains are also sensitive to the spiritual, religious values, believes and practices of persons of all faith, inquiring for continuing spiritual growth and responding to these needs in a respectful and caring manner. Chaplain is able to minister with understanding to those who are in mental/emotional crisis, including patient and family

This position is an educational residency. It first requires application to the educational program and admission to that program.
Candidates will provide pastoral and emotional support to patients, their family members, and hospital staff as part of a clinical pastoral education residency.
Completion of 1 unit of ACPE CPE required.
MDiv or equivalent graduate level theological education preferred.
Credentialing as clergy within one's faith community preferred.
