Responsibilities & Requirements
Manages and supervises overall functions of the Clinical Neurophysiology department. As necessary takes corrective action or suggest technical changes.
Under the supervision of the Director of the Neuroscience Line, the Clinical Neurophysiology Coordinator, service in the role of chief technologist and is responsible for supervising all technical operations and training activates necessary to keep the department functioning smoothly and efficiently.
Technical operations include clinical EEG and evoked potentials, intra-operative monitoring and EMU.
The coordinator is also responsible for hiring, evaluating and maintaining staff and equipment assigned to the department.
Other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Eligible for registration and/or Certification by ABRET or CMET
Three years of experience with EEG technology required.
