Development Assistant is responsible for the administrative and operational support of development and customer service related activities for the Grandview Foundation. The Development Assistant will demonstrate the ability to interact with donors, executives, physicians, staff, patients and community members with professionalism and confidentiality. Position requires a positive attitude and approach to all projects and duties and must demonstrate a desire to work as part of a team. The Development Assistant will be required to manage multiple, detailed projects efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner.
Provide administrative support to Vice President, Development, including scheduling appointments and managing calendar.
Coordinate day to day office activities, to include answering phones, greeting visitors, preparing general correspondence, ordering supplies and maintaining office equipment.
Schedule Board of Trustees and Executive Committee meetings, keep attendance record, prepare agenda and meeting materials, and arrange set-up and catering for meetings.
Perform gift processing, data entry and acknowledgement letters; over time, develop in-depth knowledge of Raisers Edge.
