Kettering Physician Network employs more than 600+ providers, including physicians and advanced practice providers, throughout the Greater-Dayton and Cincinnati areas. Offering an extensive range of specialties and expertise, our physicians provide comprehensive care at more than 120 locations.

Responsibilities & Requirements

Provides practice leadership, supervision, scheduling and daily management of the practice. Ensures a smooth and efficient operation of the practice to include, but not limited to, hiring and training staff, working with the physicians on a daily basis, monitoring and controlling costs, assuring accurate and timely charge capture and edit/error work queue resolution, and overseeing staff productivity. Assists in achieving the goals and objectives outlined in the practice Site Specific Action Plan.


The Practice Manager is responsible for:

  • Supervises and responsible for onsite business including front desk procedures, patient billing, collections, and insurance.
  • Maintains proper personnel conduct and confidentiality of medical records.
  • Oversees office budget.
  • Coordinate activities between physicians, medical personnel.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field (experience may be considered in lieu of degree).

  • If employee's practice has a KPN issued AED, the employee is required to obtain and maintain current BLS certification.

  • Two-three years of experience in a medical office environment, with 1-2 years of management required. Must have a thorough knowledge of medical office operations to include billing systems.

  • Ability to interpret and supervise business policies.

  • Special ability to communicate and relate well with staff, physician(s) and the public.
