The mission of the Information Technology department is to support the education and training of new healthcare professionals by providing technology systems, services, and processes.

Job Description:

Kettering College seeks a Senior Developer / Analyst staff member for the Information Technology department.

The ideal candidate will commit to the delivery of high-quality services to the College community.  This individual will work with the department Director on various projects to develop and strengthen the College service infrastructure. 

This individual will:

• Develop tools and systems to support business processes.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, SQL Server, and other tools to extract, shape, and produce data for reporting and decision making.
• Apply LEAN and Continuous Improvement methodologies to positively impact and achieve sustainable results in identified areas that support College strategies.
• Assist other department members as needed.
• Stay current with changes in Information Technology.

Because Kettering College is a faith-based institution sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, the ideal candidate will also be active in their local and faith communities.  Each applicant will provide a statement of faith regarding how their faith would affect their position as a staff member within the department.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required, or 10 years equivalent experience.

Skills: 

Experience with implementing LEAN / Continuous Improvement projects.

Windows .NET framework.

Microsoft PowerBI.

Microsoft PowerShell.

Experience with at least two major programming languages such as C++, C#, Java, or Python.

Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Demonstrate a history of successful project delivery using the Microsoft stack.

Preferred Qualifications

A strong candidate will have experience in the following areas:

• Microsoft Azure
• Microsoft SQL Server
• RESTful API’s
• Virtual reality

 Licensure, Certifications, Registrations:   Any one or more of the following:  CPP, CSSLP, ITIL, MCSD, MCSE
