Kettering Health Main Campus

• Kettering Health Main Campus, formerly Kettering Medical Center, is the flagship hospital of Kettering Health and has been serving Kettering, Ohio and the Greater Dayton area since 1964.

The Nursing Team Lead functions as a liaison, resource expert, and consultant to Nursing Service personnel during and throughout an assigned shift. The Team Leader serves as an on-site administrator and facilitates communication between and among patient care providers, physicians, and support service associates. The Team Leader serves as a customer relation representative for patients, families, and visitors. Acts as a liaison to the Leadership Team regarding issues related to nursing personnel safety and public relations.

Job Requirements:

• Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse

• Has potential to take call and work into evening hours as needed

• This person needs a BSN or currently pursuing one

• Must have 5+ years of OR experience

• In-Patient Care experience as needed

• Must have proficient skills/knowledge in the orthopedic specialty

• Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse

• Certified in specialty (CNOR or ONC) within six months

• A nurse who is returning to the acute care setting after five or more years  may be required to provide evidence of successful completion of a refresher course
