Kettering Health Washington Township

  • Kettering Health Washington Township, formerly Southview Medical Center, has served the South Dayton, Ohio suburbs including Centerville, Kettering, West Carrollton, Moraine, Miamisburg, Springboro, Bellbrook, and Waynesville for over 40 years.
  • KH Washington Township is a 123 licensed-bed hospital and medical campus that is conveniently located off I-675.  
  • Our full-service hospital includes maternity care, emergency services, hand trauma center, and specialty services located within the adjacent medical offices. 
  • In 2020, KH Washington Township received an “A” from the Leapfrog Group, a national patient safety watchdog, ranking among the safest hospitals in the United States.
  • Received 5 Star Baby-Friendly Hospital status by the Ohio Hospital Association.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Ambassador role may include, but is not limited to:

  • Efficiently serving room service meals to patients, family members and other guests in a caring and courteous manner
  • Maintaining nursing unit nutrition center stock of food, beverages and related supplies
  • Collecting, documenting and reporting patient meal data
  • Ensuring the safe handling and care of workspace, equipment and food
  • Promoting a positive, team-oriented environment

 Job Qualifications:

  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to push and pull wheeled carts
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to follow oral and written directions
  • Ability to tolerate frequent temperature changes working with and around equipment that generates heat, steam, and cold

Preferred Qualifications

Kettering Health Network would prefer applicants have:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Food service or customer service experience
