Kettering College Overview

  • The main campus in Kettering, Ohio, a suburb of Dayton, Ohio, is shared by Kettering College, and the Charles F. Kettering Memorial Hospital. 
  • In 2015, Kettering College expanded to include a second facility in Greene County for the Occupational Therapy Doctoral program.
  • The main Kettering College campusbuildings include classrooms, laboratories, libraries, the Residence Hall, lounges, gymnasium, auditoriums, cafeteria, laundry, computer facilities, and other offices and services related to academic and professional life.

Responsibilities & Requirements

Designs, supports and maintains corporate computer desktop images. Researches, recommends, plans, and implements solutions for integrating technology into College learning environment. Installs, evaluates, and maintains desktop hardware and software, and manages projects related to the implementation of the aforementioned items. Manages student email system. Assists with IT infrastructure support.



Preferred Qualifications


Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience required.


Minimum Work Experience
* At least 5 years’ experience in the installation, management, and integration of workstation images and configurations required.
* Requires experience with network administration and management utilities.


Required Licenses
A+ certification and advanced certification from Microsoft required. Cisco certification preferred.


Required Skills
* Requires the ability to analyze and troubleshoot network server/client related hardware and software problems.
* Requires a working knowledge of network operation systems, protocols, and hardware, including Windows 7/8/10, TCP/IP, Ethernet, and desktop management software.
