Kettering Health Main Campus

Responsibilities & Requirements


  • The PET Technologist performs diagnostic PET procedures using positron emitting radionuclides and through operating sensitive radiation detection equipment (PET or PET/CT scanner) Individual performs under limited supervision.
  • This individual performs PET or hybrid PET/CT scanning procedures in the Positron Emission Tomography section for the Kettering Health Network. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic and or therapeutic NM procedures using gamma and beta emitting radionuclides and through operating sensitive radiation detection equipment (gamma cameras).
  • This individual performs under limited supervision. Individual performs Nuclear Medicine procedures in any one of the Nuclear Medicine sites owned and operated by KHN

Preferred Qualifications


  • Requires a registered or certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist through the American Registry of Radiological Technologists, ARRT(N) or Nuclear MedicineTechnology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • Ohio license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Minimum of an Associate Degree required




  • Hospital experience preferred
  • NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification required
  • PET specialty certification preferred
  • ODH Licensure required
