Department Overview

The Marketing Specialist at Kettering Physician Network oversees all marketing and communications needs for onboarding providers and provider transitions. In addition, the marketing specialist oversees specific projects that may include marketing, advertising, outreach and promotional

activities, while providing careful consideration to overall project objectives, timelines, and cost.


The Marketing Specialist possesses strong market knowledge and takes a phased approach to planning, development, project management and execution. This role ensures that work is relevant, and positioning is in alignment with the network’s overall objectives.


The Marketing Specialist possesses a strong understanding of client’s business goals and help convey creative direction to ensure timely and efficient delivery of all projects.

Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Manage the marketing package and process for onboarding and provider transition
  • Develop and project manage marketing plans for service lines, clinics, and providers specific initiatives.
  • Contribute to copy writing and content creation for marketing initiatives.
  • Work closely with Network Marketing & Communications functions to align messaging, strategize, and develop engaging content.
  • Provide a high level of customer service and manage client relationships throughout the system.
  • Analyze market research and relevant data to support effective decision making.
  • Demonstrate the ability to problem solve with creative brainstorming to provide effectiv solutions. 
  • Communicate clearly in written and other forms
  • Ability to present/report results to executive leadership. 
  • Stay up to date with market trends relevant to health care marketing. 
  • Effectively manage priorities and complete work in a timely manner. 
  • Understand and keep up-to-date on all legal and compliance issues affecting work product. 
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Marketing or Communications preferred.


Experience: 3+years of experience in healthcare marketing, project management, and client management experience preferred.
