Responsibilities & Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate science teacher with broad training in the biological and chemical sciences to join our team. 

  

The ideal candidate will: 

  • Have the competencies and qualifications (18 graduate credits in discipline per Higher Learning Commission requirements) to teach Biochemistry lectures. 
  • Be committed to creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment for students. 
  • Be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality lessons that inspire students to learn and achieve their full potential. 
  • Be capable of teaching additional courses such as: 
  1. General Chemistry (lecture and lab)
  2. 2.General Biology (lecture and lab)
  3. 3.Anatomy and Physiology (lab only) 
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive Christian* school culture. 

  

Actual course assignments will be determined by competencies and qualifications of applicants and needs within the Science & Math Department. 

  

Other duties and responsibilities expected of full-time college faculty within the larger college community. 

 

 

Minimum Qulification:

 

 

  • Masters degree in Biological/Chemical discipline

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred:

 

  • PhD degree in Biological/Chemical discipline
  • Demonstrated college level teaching experience
