Job Description


Under general supervision, performs high quality adult echocardiograms, stress echo cardiograms, vascular ultrasounds, and assists with transesophageal echocardiogram, Tee ( if applicable ) exams in Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) accredited departments. Individuals in this position will work closely with cardiologists and technologists


The Echo Technologist is responsible for providing care to patients in all settings in collaboration with other interdisciplinary personnel. An Echo Tech should have knowledge of human anatomy and spatial relationships of all cardiac and vascular structures.


The Echo Technologist must exercise initiative and independent judgment, correlate cardiac and vascular images on particular body structures so that reading physicians are provided with adequate diagnostic information, learn new procedures/operate new equipment, work efficiently, accurately, and methodically. Ability to move and position patients for testing is necessary.


Job Requirements

  • Registry by Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
  • ECHO certification
  • Graduated from an accredited school of Ultrasound/Sonography
  • EWC Every Weekend Commitment 7am -3:30pm

Preferred Qualifications

  • Multiple ARDMS credentials
  • 1 year experience
