Campus Overview

Kettering Health Main Campus

  • Kettering Health Main Campus, formerly Kettering Medical Center, is the flagship hospital of Kettering Health and has been serving Kettering, Ohio and the Greater Dayton area since 1964.
  • The facility includes the Benjamin and Marian Schuster Heart Hospital, maternity service with a level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), and level II Emergency Care.
  • In 2020, KH Main Campus received an “A” from the Leapfrog Group, a national patient safety watchdog, ranking among the safest hospitals in the United States.
  • Received 4 Star Baby-Friendly Hospital status by the Ohio Hospital Association.

Responsibilities & Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the operation and management of CardioPulmonary at Sycamore Medical and Respiratory at
    Franklin Emergency Department including supply inventory, expense budgets, productivity, education, licensure, and
    all daily operations. Additionally the position demonstrates a strong approach to all network initiatives and will be a
    role model for KHN Mission, Vision, and Values.
    Reports to: Director of Respiratory Serivces

 

Requirements:

  • Graduates of 2-4 year AMA approved Respiratory Program.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
    Minimum Work Experience 10 years of clinical experience in Respiratory field
  • 5 years minimum experience in supervision (KHN preferred)
    Required Licenses
    [Ohio, United States] Respiratory Therapist
    Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner from the State of Ohio
    RRT Credentials issued by the National Board of Respiratory Care
    Active AARC member, current BLS with ACLS, PALS, and NRP for perspective work area
    Strong supervision, personnel, leadership, and education skills
    Strong oral and written communication skills
    Possesses good clinical and technical knowledge of Respiratory Care
    Strong computer and EMR understanding.
