Corporate Integrity seeks to enhance and protect Kettering Health (“KH”) organizational value by providing compliance education, audits, and resources for key regulations impacting operations and implementation of an effective compliance program.
The Senior Physician Compliance Coordinator:
· Supports the Manager Physician Compliance in the coordinaton of reviews of physician financial arrangement contracts.
· Compiles compensation, fair market value and commercial reasonableness information to prepare Provider Contract Committee approval requests.
· Performs periodic review of existing contracts to consider ongoing compliance.
· Ensures all documentation is complete, appropriately retained and accessible as needed.
· Interacts with all levels of the organization and develops and maintains collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
· Leads and coordinates the preparation and analysis of new and amended provider contract proposals, to include: Preparing background data to support the request
o Analysis of both Fair Market Value and Commercial Reasonableness, along with any other provider or service line specific considerations
o Follow up with internal stakeholders and/or external resources for additional questions or documentation needed
o Completion of proposal analysis for review by Manager Physician compliance and Provider Contract Committee
· Trains and supports hospital facility personnel, as needed, to promote proper processing and approval of physician payments.
· Represents Corporate Integrity on organizational project teams or as otherwise assigned.
· Acquires a good understanding of Kettering Health’s strategies, operations and the healthcare industry.
· Keeps abreast and highly proficient in regulations related to physician compensation.
· Develops and maintains business process acumen.
· Demonstrates high levels of proficiency with IT tools and data analysis/reporting skills. · Is attentive to detail and executes assignments using effective project management skills. · Learns and acclimates quickly in new situations, handles a degree of ambiguity, thinks critically to solve problems. · Adapts to changing work environments, including independent/remote and collaborative/on site work. · Strives for excellence in written and verbal communications skills. · Exhibits curiosity and spirit of continual learning and improvement. · Accepts responsibility for actions and seeks out constructive criticism. · Respectfully interacts and collaborates with Network and Operations stakeholders. · Appropriately maintains confidentiality. · Commits to KH mission and values.
Requirements:
· Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance or other business discipline.
· 6+ years of accounting, finance or other business discipline experience required.
· Healthcare experience required.
· Experience with physician compensation desired.
· Experience with Microsoft and data analysis and reporting tools is strongly preferred.
