Job Summary
The Manager of Supply Chain is responsible for implementing and measuring all facility supply chain strategies and efforts. This position is responsible for meeting key hospital strategic objectives and translating the vision of the future of KH Supply Chain into an actionable strategy for Supply Chain at the hospital level, e.g. focusing on supply chain excellence internally. This role is responsible for ensuring the campus has an effective and efficient product delivery model from receiving, linen, equipment and inventory management. The role is also responsible for understanding and collaborating, under the direction of the Director of Supply Chain Operations, with clinical and non-clinical department directors on all non-labor expenses to ensure delivery of lowest total cost of supplies, equipment and services while supporting the clinical, functional, operational and quality criteria necessary to fulfill the hospital mission. Performs other duties as assigned
Job Duties
- All manager positions include operational oversite of materials, receiving, equipment and linen
Responsible for assisting the Director of Supply Chain/Director of Supply Chain Ops in implementing campus-based strategy to ensure “Right Product, Right Amount, Right Location, Right Time” - Responsible for understanding and collaborating, under the direction of the Director of Supply Chain/Director of Supply Chain Ops, with clinical and non-clinical department directors/ managers on all non-labor expenses to ensure high service delivery at the lowest total cost
- Participation in the implementation of Supply Chain initiatives and assist in driving campus-based compliance requirements and supply utilization discussions
- Provide logistical knowledge to other internal departments
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Knowledge of: Health care materials management/supply chain
Skilled in: Financial management, Microsoft Office suite, interpersonal communication across all levels of the organization
Ability to: Multitask, lead complex projects
Job Requirements
Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain
Minimum Work Experience
Five years of associated healthcare resource and materials management experience. Three years in a supervisory role preferred.
