Campus Overview

Soin Medical Center

  • Soin Medical Center has been serving residents of Greene, Western Clark, Eastern Montgomery, and Miami counties since 2012.
  • Conveniently located off I-675 in Beavercreek. 
  • Provides a variety of health care services and is home to 4 accredited Centers of Excellence including hernia and robotic surgery. 
  • Soin is currently licensed for 125 beds which will increase after the expansion completion in the Fall of this year.
  • In 2020, Soin received an “A” from the Leapfrog Group, a national patient safety watchdog, ranking among the safest hospitals in the United States.

Responsibilities & Requirements

 

Job Summary

-HVAC back ground required.

-Job skills for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing of advanced systems. 

-Keeps all regulatory documentation to make sure everything is completed on time. 

-Required to work all shifts, be on-call, as directed by supervisor. 

-Required to help other trades as directed by supervisor.

-Repair and maintenance of building components and/or systems, in inventory as directed by the coordinator. 

-This includes painting, equipment repair, filter replacements, light bulb changing, PM on equipment defined in P.E. program along with setting up tables and chairs for events and snow & site work. 

-Must be able to work any shift including weekends when needed. 

-Assist in construction projects where required

-Also includes other duties as assigned.

 

Educational Requirements

-High School diploma, or equivalent required

-Valid driver’s license required

-HVAC experience required

-Knowledge of Nurse Call, Tubesystem, Camera Systems, Alarm Systems highly preferred

 

Skills/Other

-Advance knowledge of basic tools requiring dexterity, hand eye coordination and visual coordination

-2-3 years’ experience in commercial/residential maintenance

-PC skills (Word, Excel) required

-Knowledge of building components, institutional maintenance and repair practices.

-Knowledge of how to work safely

-In good health with adequate strength and endurance to perform assigned tasks and responsibilities.

-Depending on job type, different skills would be required.

-Willing to be trained in any of the categories of maintenance and repair.

-Knowledge of the use of hand and power tools and test equipment used in maintenance.

-Must be able to read and write legibly.
