The non-certified EEG Technician will focus on providing exceptional patient care including interactions with patients, families, ancillary staff, physicians’ offices, physicians, and residents. The non-certified EEG Technician will perform clinical and ambulatory EEG’s, evoked potentials, and clinical monitoring of EMU and continuous EEG patients, clerical duties and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
- High School diploma required.
- Associates degree preferred
- Must have EEG Training experience or actively enrolled in Electro-Neuro diagnostic program.

- Maintain a valid CPR certification.
- Perform clinical and ambulatory EEG’s and after being sufficiently trained and competencies are checked off on each modality.
- Perform evoked potentials and clinical monitoring of EMU and continuous EEG patients.
- Provides call coverage for EEG and EMU and includes schedule responsibilities for holidays and weekends.
- Responsible to help control department payroll and supply expenses
- Perform Clerical duties as required as well as other duties as assigned.
