Responsibilities & Requirements

Seeking experienced Staff and Resource Perinatal Diagnostic Sonographers to perform perinatal ultrasounds on high risk OB patient population including:  detailed fetal anatomy evaluation, biophysical profile, fetal Doppler velocimetry (venous and arterial vessels), and with Doppler flow of valves and Color flow mapping. Perinatal diagnostic sonographer also assists in the evaluation of pregnancy complications (twin-twin transfusion syndrome) and fetal malformations (CPAM, CDH, etc.).  Assists perinatologist in performing invasive procedures (amniocentesis, amnioreduction, intrauterine transfusions, and chorionic villous sampling).  Basic gynecological ultrasounds performed including sonohystograms.  Responsible for maintaining ultrasound equipment and supplies. 

 

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate of approved school of ultrasound/sonography. 
  • OB/GYN RDMS 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Nasal Bone certification preferred.
