Campus Overview

Kettering Health Main Campus

  • Kettering Health Main Campus, formerly Kettering Medical Center, is the flagship hospital of Kettering Health and has been serving Kettering, Ohio and the Greater Dayton area since 1964.
  • The facility includes the Benjamin and Marian Schuster Heart Hospital, maternity service with a level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), and level II Emergency Care.
  • In 2020, KH Main Campus received an “A” from the Leapfrog Group, a national patient safety watchdog, ranking among the safest hospitals in the United States.
  • Received 4 Star Baby-Friendly Hospital status by the Ohio Hospital Association.

Responsibilities & Requirements

Key Job Responsibilities:


Effectively controls utilization of all financial resources as outlined in the department’s budget. Demonstrates
control while continuously reviewing adequate use of productive FTEs, overtime, and operating expenses.
Maintains sufficient inventory levels while recognizing cost reductions whenever possible. Responsible for all
personnel, their actions and productive outcome to comply with hospital philosophy. Maintains control and
organization of the department while collaborating with departments throughout the hospital. Manages daily
functions (supply PAR leveling and linen replenishment, ordering, order follow-up, cycle counts, quality checks,
crediting, scheduling, etc.) in order to maintain proper product flow and ensure maximum customer
satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Education:


Bachelor's degree preferred.


Minimum Work Experience:

 

Five to Seven years of associated healthcare resource and materials management experience. Three years in a
supervisory role preferred.
