Department Overview

JOB SUMMARY:

 

This position will provide Human Resources support services to all Kettering Health Network employees with a high level of effectiveness, efficiency, and a focus on customer service. Works independently with direction from the leader. This position is responsible for taking and responding to all inquiries from employees as well as conducting basic HR transactional activities. This position will drive customer questions and/or issues to resolution or escalate items needing specialized or advanced support.

Responsibilities & Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Resolve general employee HR-related inquiries (e.g., how much PTO do I have left?)
  • Create, document, close, and/or escalate cases in ServiceNow based on internal operating procedures
  • Handle intake for payroll and benefit-related inquiries
  • Stay informed on manager and HR notifications and updates
  • Research multiple systems to find accurate answers to best assist KH employees
  • Fill out verification of employment and Public Service Loan Forgiveness forms
  • And other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 

Minimum Education - High School Diploma. Associate's degree preferred.

 

Minimum Work Experience -1 year of related experience

 

Required Skills - Proficient with a variety of software programs including MS Office, Excel, Access, and Word. Strong communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and resolution skills. Must be able to multi-task, maintain confidentiality, work independently, and have good organizational skills.
