Campus Overview

Kettering Health Springfield 

  • The one-story, 42,000-square-foot medical center, located at 2300 N. Limestone St., is expected to open in the spring of 2022.
  • Available services will include: 
  • 24/7 emergency center including lab and imaging
  • Medical offices for primary care and specialty services
  • The medical facility will employ approximately 50 full-time positions, and it is expected to cost $20 million to build.
  • The new location builds on Kettering Health’s existing services in Springfield, including a primary care office on Middle Urbana Rd. and a health center on Emmanuel Way that offers imaging services, physical and occupational therapy, primary care, and specialty services.

Responsibilities & Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Technologist Assistant serves as a member of the interdisciplinary team and is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered technologist.
  • The tech assistant will perform technologist care skills that have been delegated by the supervising technologist, as well as escorts/transports patients to/from nursing units and diagnostic areas safely with respect for confidentiality as assigned.
  • Correctly identifies patients, recognizes their limitations and obtains additional information and assistance as needed.
