Kettering Health Dayton
Supports the Infection Prevention and Control manager in the development, training, and implementation of the campus Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Programs striving for One Best Practice across all KH Facilities. Serves as knowledge expert in IPC practice, processes, surveillance methodologies, products, equipment, policies, and regulatory and accreditation standards.

Requires occasional travel to other System facilities
Fast-paced; juggling and prioritizing multiple projects at one time with altered hours to meet job requirements from time to time
Frequent review and utilization of computer systems to review electronic medical records and development of action plans; research on best practice, etc.
Frequent support to hospital units and service areas where patient care is delivered to provide patient/family/staff education, surveillance, process reviews, performance improvement measures, etc.
