Soin Medical Center

Responsibilities:

• Technologist Assistant serves as a member of the interdisciplinary team and is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered technologist.
• The tech assistant will perform technologist care skills that have been delegated by the supervising technologist, as well as escorts/transports patients to/from nursing units and diagnostic areas safely with respect for confidentiality as assigned.
• Correctly identifies patients, recognizes their limitations and obtains additional information and assistance as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school/G.E.D

Position will assist the MRI technologists in preparing patients for testing including escorting(ambulatory and wheelchair) patients, ensuring paperwork is complete, stocking and other duties as needed by the department. 

Shift is Monday-Friday 8a-430p.  Holiday rotation may be included.
