Kettering Health Hamilton
Reports the Manager of Sports Medicine, the Coordinator of Athletic Training Services or the Athletic Trainer Team Lead. In cooperation with the referral source or medical direction to provide care to individuals with athletic injuries, trauma, and disease process, including being involved with the development of injury prevention programs for athletes in the community and clinic settings. Involved with the rehabilitation process by performing a wide variety of treatment procedures consistent with athletic injury care. Responsible for keeping referring physicians updated as needed. Responsible for keeping the referring sports medicine staff member informed on the progress of the referred client and provides supporting documentation. Involved with the full spectrum of youth-adult outpatient orthopedic patients and the physically active. Interacts with patients, co-workers, and customers throughout KHN. Responsible for working in other areas in the sports medicine department.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide athletic training coverage at all OHSAA-sponsored athletic events hosted at the assigned school.
Collaborate with the athletic director to create and manage the athletic training budget and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
Develop and maintain comprehensive, venue-specific emergency action plans.
Foster positive working relationships with administrators, athletic directors, coaches, and RN staff to ensure coordinated care.
Work Schedule:
The role requires adaptability with varied hours based on practices and athletic schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
