  • Kettering Health Medical Group, formerly known as Kettering Physician Network, employs more than 700 providers, including physicians and advanced practice providers, throughout the Greater-Dayton and Cincinnati areas.

Responsibilities & Requirements

Business Analysts are a primary interface between projects and Customers. They are responsible for understanding current and future processes, including processes for the entire enterprise. They define and document business needs and requirements, and generate project business cases. BAs work with Project Managers at project initiation to define costs and benefits of a proposed project prior to the project being reviewed for inclusion in the portfolio. They may participate in portfolio review meetings. Business Analysts report to the PMO director.

 

Key Job Responsibilities
Work with customers to determine business requirements for requested projects.
Assess customer needs.
Develop work flows.
Document requirements to meet business needs of organization.
Analyze alignment of proposals to corporate strategies.
Define benefits and costs of projects.
Write and present business cases and project charters.
Participate in project and portfolio reviews to maintain project's alignment with business case.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Education
Associates Degree required, Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
 
Minimum Work Experience
3-5 years' experience in Healthcare industry. Experience on a project teams a plus.
 
Required Skills
Strong business background with knowledge of company's industry, markets and strategy.
Skilled at developing and presenting presentations.
Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
Strong business acumen and high level of numeracy.
Strong analytical skills.
