Kettering Health Main Campus

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Network Executive Director of the Oncology Service Line (OSL) is responsible for the administration, direction, and coordination of all oncology activities for Kettering Health Network (KHN) in accordance with the mission, strategic, and financial goals. The Network Oncology Service Line Leader will provide overall strategic direction while maintaining accountability for all day-to-day operations and performance of the Oncology Service Line at each hospital, facility, and ambulatory clinic within KHN. Success in this role will be dependent on developing and maintaining positive relations with physicians, physician's office staff, employees, vendors, community organizations and other network leaders to continually drive excellence in quality of services and overall patient experience. Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Education

  • MA, MSN, MHA or MBA required.

Minimum Work Experience

  • 5-10 years' experience of oncology program development/management experience required

Required Skills

  • Practice management or hospital administrative experience; multi-site health system experience preferred
  • Exposure to both inpatient and ambulatory oncology services preferred
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of medical office practices
  • Demonstrates ability to comprehend and analyze marketing data and financial statements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to create and maintain good rapport with local medical staff
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of internal and external contacts
  • Ability to think independently using good judgment for situations that require initiative and ingenuity
  • Good organizational skills
