Job Requirements:
 
Associates degree or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience.• Epic Certification or obtained within 6 months.
 
Minimum Work Experience
• 0-2 years of experience in data analysis, report creation and visualization or related field.
Epic Certification (Clarity, EDW) or obtained within 6 months
Required Skills
• Experience with self-service BI tools (MS Power BI, PowerPivot, SAP Crystal, Power View, Tableau, etc.
• Knowledge of data warehouse concepts including data modeling, data quality, ETL and data mining.
• Microsoft SQL Server BI tools: SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS.
• Microsoft SQL and Stored Procedures.
• Prior experience working in healthcare industry with Epic EMR.
 
Job Responsibilities:
 
Essential Functions
• Distribute analytics content to data consumers.
• Build and maintain Epic and third-party BI visualization deliverables.
• Work with subject matter experts to understand the needs of data consumers.
• Modify existing reports, as necessary.
• Create content to display data from Epic Chronicles, Clarity, Caboodle and from the KH Data Warehouse.
• Maintain the analytics catalog and associated meta data.
• Follow established standards and processes in the development and modification of BI deliverables.
• Review peer reports for validity.
• Work with data services team to ensure integrity of data.
• Serve as point person for production downtimes and on-call rotation for PBI infrastructure.
