The Epic Principal Trainer develops, implements, and maintains training programs for Epic software users in Revenue Cycle. This position is responsible for creating and delivering the End User Training curriculum and materials, conducting training sessions, and working with various departments to ensure the effective use of the Epic system. As a subject matter expert, the Principal Trainer also supports and guides credentialed trainers to maintain consistency and quality in training delivery to end-users.

Minimum Education
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field, required
Required Licenses[Ohio, United States] Other• Epic Principal Trainer Certification.
Minimum Work Experience
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Epic trainer or in a similar role.
• Proven experience in curriculum development and instructional design.
• Experience with Epic software and certification in one or more Epic modules preferred.
Required Skills
Curriculum Development:
• Design and develop training materials, including lesson plans, manuals, e-learning modules, and job aids for Epic software users.
• Regularly update training materials to reflect changes and updates in the Epic system.
• Create tools to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and measure learning outcomes.
Training Delivery:
• Conduct train-the-trainer sessions to prepare credentialed trainers and provide leadership in the educational process.
• Deliver training sessions to end-users.
• Provide one-on-one training and support as needed.
Collaboration:
• Collaborate closely and often with the Revenue Cycle training team on the content development and maintenance of training materials.
• Work with analysts, IT staff, department leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure training materials align with organizational goals and Epic system functionality.
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on training-related issues.
Evaluation and Improvement:
• Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, evaluations, and performance metrics.
• Continuously refine and improve training materials based on feedback and system updates.
• Stay current with Epic updates and industry best practices.
Support:
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for trainers and end-users.
• Act as a resource for complex questions and issues related to the Epic system.
