Minimum Education

• Graduate from an accredited school of pharmacy

Required Licenses

• Current registered Pharmacist license for the State of Ohio

Required Skills

• Knowledge of drug treatment, interaction, and administration. Knowledge of drug compounding Ability to interact professionally with patients, medical staff, and third party payers Ability to supervise others Excellent oral and written communication skills Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices Organizational skills Long Term Care Pharmacy experience is a plus Knowledge of controlled substance regulations Basic computer skills - Ability to use Microsoft Office

• Verification of orders, ensuring accuracy and clinical appropriateness Verification of packaged medications Provide customers with excellence customer service Oversee duties of Pharmacy Technician Schedule will include a combination of first and second shift hours / weekend coverage will also be required
