Associate Director of Student Success, Kettering Medical Center, Kettering, OH. Prov student success coaching to a variety of pre-program students. Oversee all academic tutors & writing center tutors. Drive pre-program progression strategies to ensure high retention rates & pre-program success. Advise & counsel students to ensure they progress into their programs. Build relationships & collaborate w/faculty & staff to ensure pre-program level success is achieved. Resp for improving processes & delivering coaching & tutoring to students. Lead, hire & develop student tutors & student success coaches. Meet prof obligations. Act as strong contributor to all appropriate teams, exhibiting Christian collegiality in team relationships. Support Higher Learning Commission projs for cont quality improvement. Participate in meetings & faculty devt activities, incl those sponsored by College, Medical Center, & prof orgs. Comm clinical outcomes to student, preceptor & staff at clinical site. Prov appropriate supervision of students in clinical setting, in accordance w/OH Board of Nursing regs. Participate in utilization of research projs to advance nursing educ. Min req: Master’s in Admin or related field & 2 yrs prof exp, incl 1 yr exp in student advising or student support; 1 yr exp working in higher educ or an equiv educ setting; 1 yr exp in comm w/adult learners in online or hybrid formats; 6 mos exp managing a student caseload & tracking progress in digital system; 6 mos problem solving & resource referral exp; & 3 mos exp w/basic data entry & student record mgmt.
