Responsibilities & Requirements

To perform high level clinical respiratory care under indirect technical supervision as assigned by the supervisor or team leader. Additional the position demonstrates a strong approach to all network initiatives and will be a role model for KHN mission, vision, and values.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

•Performs various respiratory procedures on a day to day basis under indirect supervision for all age group as specified per campus departmental policy
• Exercises good independent clinical judgment and discretion in applying and interpreting policies and procedures
• Maintains productivity at or above required levels.
• Assures correct documentation of all records
• Completes required infant skills competency and actively functions as NICU RT
 
Job Requirements
 

• Minimum Education Graduates of a 2-4 year AMA approved Respiratory Program

• RRT Credentials issued by the National Board of Respiratory Care, or within 6 months of hire
• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner for the State of Ohio
• Active AARC member must demonstrate acute/critical care knowledge as it relates to cardiopulmonary diseases states, involved in precepting acute/critical care areas, supervisor capabilities, current BLS with ACLS, P, and NRP for respective work area.
