Responsibilities & Requirements

 

JOB SUMMARY

The Administrative Director provides oversight and leadership within a specific service line. Establishes and ensures achievement of the organization’s strategic objective and leads strategic efforts for the service line(s). Provides Operational support as well as Fiscal data for Service Line Physicians, Service Line Advance Practice Providers (APP), Operation Administrators, Practice Managers and the Medical Group Executive Team. In collaboration with Service Line Medical Directors, ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies. Leads and participates in Process Improvement activities including creation of policy and procedure formation for guiding and supporting the provisions of the service. Serves as Medical Group Operations representative for Kettering Health initiatives.

 

The Administrative Director is responsible for the daily operations of designated care delivery locations within a specific service line.

Currently, the service line Director has oversight of KHMG General Surgery, GI, Urology, Trauma and Bariatrics.

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s Degree preferred in Health Care, Nursing and or Business.

Minimum Work Experience: 8 years’ experience, with at least 3 in a leadership role

Required Skills: Requires excellent skills in communication, problem- solving, team development, planning and follow-through. Ability to exercise the authority and responsibility for assigned services based on the scope of the organization and complexity of patient care and services. Must possess comprehensive knowledge of the health care environment including economic factors, change theory, clinical care delivery in the ambulatory and urgent care setting. Demonstrates expertise in leadership in a dynamic environment that requires exceptional flexibility. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, complex problem-solving abilities, planning and follow through.
