Do you want to work in an innovative, faith based, and team oriented department where you can make a difference in the community?

Technologist will be a competent individual capable of assisting the physician during cardiac and interventional radiologoical procedures. He or she must possess the ability to perform radiographic work so that all work is completed in a competent, timely and efficient manner. He or she will assist with patient care and safety while the patient is in the interventional lab. Emergency call required on rotating basis with 30 minute response time. This is a highly stressful, very busy patient care area. Exposure to X-rays during cardiac catheterization procedures. Exposure to blood borne pathogens during catheterization procedures. Long periods of time standing and long periods of time wearing heavy lead aprons.


Responsibilities & Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

  • Must be capable of working independently and work well with team members.
  • Must be able to interact positively with multiple patient populations and their families
  • Perform other duties assigned and help in other areas as needed.
  • Possible on call and holidays required

Job Qualifications:

  • ARRT/ CT registry (within one year of employment)
  • ODH License required
  • BLS required
  • ACLS certification required within six months of hire


Applicants must live within 30 minutes of Fort Hamilton to fullfil the required on-call response time.
