    Kettering Physician Network employs more than 400 providers, including physicians and advanced practice providers, throughout the Greater-Dayton and Cincinnati areas. Offering an extensive range of specialties and expertise, our physicians provide comprehensive care at more than 120 locations.

    Responsibilities & Requirements

    Performs direct patient care within scope of practice at the direction of the provider. Supervises clinical staff and workflow. Manages employee schedules, time and attendance, delegation of staff assignments based on staffing needs. Provides staff education and acts as a liaison for KPN Clinical Education.  Provides daily coaching and support, conducts regular staff performance audits, and ongoing evaluation and coaching. Participates in departmental meetings and quality improvement activities. Manages medication logs, storage and handling, when applicable.

     

    Job Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Graduate of accredited LPN program (or equivalent) and current valid Ohio Nursing license.
    • Basic Life Support certification required.
    • Requires good communication skills, ability to handle difficult situations with tact and patience.
    • Willingness to perform repetitive tasks, accept delegation, and participate as a member of the care team.
    • Able to work under time constraints, multi-task, and prioritize work load. 
    • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.
    • Experience in physician practice and use of electronic medical records preferred.
    • Working knowledge of OSHA guidelines and HIPAA regulations preferred.
