    Responsibilities & Requirements


    The Director of Kettering Breast Evaluation Center (KBEC) oversees and establishes long range plans and service programing for screening and diagnostic imaging services, and is responsible for business development of imaging services for integrated delivery system.  Works closely with hospital, clinic, and medical leadership, in particular the Physician Board of Directors of the Breast Cancer Screening, Diagnostic and Prevention MSO, to achieve regulatory compliance and achieve long-range goals.



    • Leads KBEC’s 13 Breast Imaging Centers, including clinical, financial, operational outcomes, as well as business growth through access and patient navigation.
    • Directs KBEC Leadership in daily operations of clinical areas.
    • Partners with Medical Director and KHN Oncology Service Line Leader to develop processes that ensure organization is following evidence based standards.
    • Develops and implements short and long-range goals to ensure high standards for imaging services with measurable outcomes and effective use of resource.
    • Responsible for program and service development in response to both internal and external stakeholders. Sets standards for operational, service, and quality performance for imaging services.
    • Oversees Genetic Counselor daily workflow/productivity
    • Oversees Cancer Risk Assessment/Results
    • Develops strategies in conjunction with the Medical Director to enhance KBEC services and quality outcomes.




    Bachelor’s Degree Required




    Minimum of 5 years of imaging or cancer program development/management experience required.




    Ability to analyze complex clinical operations and structure processes to facilitate decision-making.

    Advanced interpersonal skills necessary to provide effective leadership and collaboration within a multidisciplinary setting

    Advanced skills in project and program management and coordination.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • MS-RN, RT, or MBA/MHA preferred.
    • Multi-site Health System experience preferred.
