The Mammography Technologist performs both screening and diagnostic mammograms and assists the Radiologists with mammography procedures. This individual helps with performing QC testing and documentation as required by the MQSA. The technologist helps to maintain all paperwork and documentation in regard to abnormal follow ups pathology, patient letters etc. as required by MQSA. This person must demonstrate good customer service with patients and doctor's offices, as well as have good communication with our Radiologists. The technologist is expected to work both independently and as a team with limited supervision. This person must participate in yearly MQSA inspections and the ACR process as needed. The Angiography/Interventional Radiology Technologist will be an individual capable of assisting the physician during peripheral or neuro diagnostic and interventional procedures. The Interventional Radiology Technologist must possess the ability to perform radiographic work on several different types of radiographic equipment so that all work is completed in a competent, timely and efficient manner. He or she will assist with patient care and safety while the patient is in the Interventional Radiology lab environment. This is highly stressful, very busy patient care area.
