Incentives (Text Only) As a key member of the senior executive team, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) provides strategic leadership, direction, and coordination for divisional operations, aligning them with the organization’s mission and objectives. The CMO acts as the senior medical authority at KH sites, serving as a vital liaison between Administration and the Medical Staff. This role is pivotal in advising administration on medical and clinical matters, promoting, and embodying the mission, vision, and core values of Kettering Health, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. |   | KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: | - Leadership & Strategy: Develop and champion the hospital’s patient safety and clinical quality agenda in collaboration with the executive responsible for quality and performance improvement. Establish annual goals, performance targets, and metrics, and facilitate information dissemination and knowledge management related to safety and quality. | - Clinical Standards & Outcomes: Define standards of care, enhance clinical outcomes, and disseminate best practices across the organization. | - Support & Collaboration: Assist the Chief of Staff, Medical Executive Committee, and Medical Staff in their roles to foster a culture of patient safety and quality. Provide support in achieving optimal hospital performance and clinical excellence. | - Committee Leadership: Chair or support key physician committees focusing on clinical program alignment, strategic planning, integration of care standards, research, and continuous quality improvement.
